rooting problem(saying reconnect external memmory card )

I am using xperia u ..and when i try to root it by using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v25 app there is a error when i try to restore using restore and backup app of sony there is error saying that could not restore reconnect external memory.....plz help i will i root this phone

you cannot root .54 fw directly. you should flash b.10 kernal after you can root it, then flash .54 kernal again.
