Ring alert problem after ICS update.

With sound ON i get message ring on receiving messages and ringtone on receiving call, but after i make a call these message tone and ringtones do not sound and the phone only viberates even when it is set to speaker mode, after rebooting it works finr again, but again after making a call the same problem presists, please if anybody know about it, help me ! Thanks in advance !

same issue .... i repaired the phn and thought it got solved but this was not the case ....

Well, I would recommend a software update of the phone. If this doesn't solve the issue, you need to send in the phone to a service center so they can have a look at it.

Samuel, this bug have appr. 75% of all XU users with ICS. This must be repaired by next ICS update or JB in future, it's not HW problem. I noticed this problem on flashed French ICS and also on official SUS ICS. Here is a lot of threads regarding this issue. No solution. I installed Illumination Bar application,  at least I can graphically see that I have new message. It's not also about changing volume to MAX or change ringing or alert tones. As adarshgurjar posted, there is only vibration during receiving SMS. It happens randomly, but probably after restaring phone is receiving of 1st SMS OK. After making call (or other unknown event) are SMS notification tomes lost, only vibrations are working.

WTH :O, are u sure you are from support team ? I CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT THIS PROBLEM OCCURED AFTER "ICS" UPDATE   x(   , and you are recommending me to update my software ? DONT YOU KNOW THAT ICS IS THE "LATEST SOFTEWARE XPERIA U GOT YET"  X(  , REALLY SONY SUPPORT TEAM NEED TO BE CHANGED, TOTALLY DISSPOINTED BY YOUR REPLY !

And if anybody else could help, then it will be better !
