Right side of screen randomly unresponsive. I sometimes have to press the same letter 3 or 4 times to get it to type. I am seeing that others are having this same issue. The phone is less than two weeks old.
This is my first Sony Smartphone and up to now I've been in love with it. In fact, I've never been this excited over a smartphone.
I've owned nothing but Apple and Samsung in the past. I hope this wasn't a mistake deviating from the two top brands.
After more research on the Internet, Sony's software repair feature does not appear to solve the issue.
What else can I do to solve this issue? I love the phone and want to keep it. Disappointed...but hopeful that Sony can help me solve this.
Otherwise the phone is *spectacular*.
EDIT: just ran the screen diagnostics and it passed...which leads me to believe this is a software issue and not hardware related.
Side note:I don't believe in polluting my phones w 3rd party apps...so only have 3 apps installed...so I don't think that's the problem.
