Before phone recovery (in PC Companion) made backup of contacts and messages via 'backup and restore' (and contacts via 'export to sdcard' too). After recovery complete I tryed restore messages and contacts from SBF file with 'backup and restore' tool. But it alert me 'cant read selected restore file'. How can I extract messages from sbf-file? It's very important for me.

p.s.: 2.1-update1 was before and after recovery

what is "SBF"? did you reformat the SD card and/or alter the SD card?

SBF - ".SBF". File created by 'backup and restore' tool.

Yes, SDcard have been formatted. But I've copied backup files to PC before it.

I would suggest you keep checking google until you find something that works, also did you synced your contacts with gmail/google?

Contacts was backuped and restored by Contact Manager. I need to restore sms messages and dial history.

that was the old market, it has changed a lot, it's no longer called market but Play Store. you will get the update in couple of hours if its available in your country. I'm starting to think that the file it's corrupted or was corrupted, have you try moving the file back to your SD card and try again?
