Request a update or any other solution for sinhala fonts in Xperia Z. All the other brands have sinhala fonts and Sony has removed sinhala fonts. Please add them.

Sony don't care about us. I am a Sri Lankan. I cannot read sinhala font using my new Sony xperia z3. So what a waste of stupid sony technology. Just useless sony mobile for us without seeing our fonts in a web page.

Has anyone checked if sinhala fonts are visible in Sony Z5 range?
If they have it might be just a wait for the next update for us to get it on our sony Z4 or downwards devices.

Correction here
HTC upto one M8 still doesn't have sinhala
But HTC One M9 & that point onwards other devices below flagship level from that date onwards now comes sinhala built-in.

This has been a big issue for Sony phone users in Sri Lanka. The unavailability of Sinhala font in Sony phone prevents us from viewing content from our native language. While most of other phone manufacturers (apple, Samsung, HTC, LG) support it out of the box you are keeping your loyal fans disappointed. How hard would it be to add a sinhala font to the system by default if it works when installed after rooting.

From the first I'm using Sony phons. In the world so many languages are there. Sony also supports that all languages. But without sinhala. I'm in Sri Lanka. Our country using lot of Sony mobiles.but still Sony not provide sinhala.my phone is Sony experia z ultra.I already updated latest software also. But sinhala fronts are not supported. Samsung,Nokia, even apple also support sinhala. What kind of company are you? I'm going to change my mobile. To Samsung. Because language. And if any Sony lovers there.. I'm straightly going to tell them don't use Sony. How many years I'm using Sony. But still I'm unlucky to see my language in my favorite mobile? So why I spend money to buy this kind of mobile? Is it meaningful? Every time I'm provide to others Sony is the best, if they asking from me which mobile brand is the best? My word is SONY. But again it's never happen. My all friends have only Sony. In the future it's should be change. Because still this company can't do this few small thing. Be shy..

I have already switched out of Sony.

For Two main reasons

*1 #NoSinhalaFontSONY -Sinhala  Font is still not introduced to their Flag ship phones as of today.

*2 #SonyMobileNotProfiting -Sony Parent company has only given less than one year to at leasr break-even for them to continue in future in the Mobile Industry. If Sony Mobile does not break-even next fiscal year, It might as well be the end of Life for Sony Mobile altogether, which means There after there'd be no Support asolutly.

However on a differnt note I've heard that newer models that has come out (i.e. Sony M5) have come built-in with Sinhala Font.

I still like the features of SONY Mobile.

But Sadly above two reaons have made me live without Sony.

Cheers!!
