Is there a remote assistance app like join.me for remotely assisting people using android phones from a desktop computer?

I work in an IT support role and lately I have been having people contact me to ask for help in setting up their smartphones or tablets. With a pc as long as they have an internet connection the process goes a lot smoother if I can "watch over their shoulder" using something like Join.me or showmypc.com, does such a tool exist for android devices yet?

I had a dig around but the couple I could find required you to root the phone which I understand manufacturers don't like you doing, other than that I found that logmein does a mobile support app but it has a disclaimer at the bottom that states it is only supported if the manufacturer has installed the app themselves because of security restrictions (rooting I guess).

Anyone have any other ideas? I'm not looking to remote support from my phone/tablet, I'm looking to remote support Tablets/phones from my computer.

Hmm, can't think of any app like this doesn't require root unfortunately. Maybe someone else here has. I'm quite interested in it myself as I for some unknown reason have to help friends and family a lot with their phones I'll monitor the thread.
