Reloading deleted emails

HI, new to this phone.

Every time I delete emails, the phone re-loads them next time it searches for new emails (set to every 30 mins).  Can I permanently delete?

If you open the email section and use the menu button to access the email settings, you will see an option for keeping a copy on the server. If you uncheck this option then when you delete the email with the phone it will also delete from the server and will not come back down to the handset when it refreshes.

Thanks Sam,  I tried!  I got to 'email settings' but couldn't find anything like the option you describe.  Under 'Server Settings: - 'Incoming settings' - nothing; 'outgoing settings' - nothing.  No other server settings that I could find.

From the information I have currently available, the option to "Never Delete" or "Always keep a copy on the server" is located in the incoming server settings/ However this option is only available on certain email account types so if you do not have the option there then unfortunately this is not something you can alter and I can only advise deleting the emails via a PC if you want them gone for good.
