I had purchased mobile phone model Sony experia c white through snapdeal.com order was posted on 27 sept 2014 with order no. 2939561917 sub order 3982107045. I received my cell phone on 2/10/14 as cash on delivery policy.
Incidentally on 24/11/14 at 17:00 hrs when I was sitting of my workplace with cell phone kept on table. I heard small blast like sound in mobile phone. When I picked up the mobile it was very hot and after opening cover I found touch screen of mobile is burst in pieces.(photographs are attached with mail). This incident was withes sow by my colleens too. I was sorrow by seeing the condition of mobile & felt very fortunate that it was not in my pocked otherwise it could have been life threatening. .
Immediately I went to companies real authorized service centre named Balaji Enterprises-240941 service id- 14120301145 who kept mobile for four days to examine & returned cell phone on 03/12/14 with remark that it is physical damage and will not be covered under warranty condition. And estimated repair cost of around 14,500 where as it was purchased of 14,485 after discount on MRP.
Already I was worried as out the incident and again with above remark are disappointed too. As the reason behind the incident is not clean so I am worried it may happen again with the same piece of handset.
Hence I request you to look into matter and make possible to get my mobile replace with new piece.
