Red Light Blinking

Hello Guys.

coming straight to the point, I was changing my Xperia Play's display. I did well. but before pakaging I want to be sure that display working fine or not. I connect battery to terminal and press On Switch but it wont turn on. Suddenly I saw the Battery It connected Wrong. Means +ve connect to -ve And vice versa.

Now When I put battery and try to on it, the RED Light present in Power Button Blinks. When I connect charger to it It Flashes Once and Than Continously Remains Red. Battery Become hot during charging Process.

Please Help me.

I have the same problem......tried all the steps.......laptop still says USB device not recognized. I am unable to connect in flash mode. Is there any other wasy to do this ???

Ps: I know this is a old thread but i'm now experiencing this problem and would really like some assistance.

@Abyss01 - Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Please try performing the same steps but after you have unistalled the device through Device Manager, reconnect to a different USB port (please avoid using a USB 3 port as well.)
