Recover Data

Hello, I broke my phone a few days ago and I have been trying to recover my data. However, when I plug it into the USB and go to my computer, a Removeable disk (E) appears and I double click it. What I get is 'please insert a disk into Removeable Disk E'. The phone works, I can tell the camera does, the screen is shattered but it does work, although the touch ability does not work. I have trying the PC Companion but I get nothing from it either.

 Please help me out.

You should still give it a try with a mouse and a keyboard,that way you can use the screen without touching it. But you have to be sure that what you do is visible.
