Hi all, I have been noticing this wierd problem on my sola.. when a call comes, i swype to recieve it but it does not get recieved, goes on vibrating and after only a couple of seconds, it shows that the call is active.. Is anyone else facing this same problem.. It is really annoying.. Even the recent update of ICS they did not sort out this problem.

Hi there.

On this, check the amount of RAM memory you have left.

This is done by going to Settings> apps> "Running" tab.

If you are running under 100mb the phone;s response time slows down.

To remedy this please free up memory by deleting some unwanted apps or by using a Task manager.

Hope this helps.

Francis.

I would advise you run an update/repair:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps

another thing, you say if RAM memory is under 100 mb the phone slows down..
but, my phone is alway about 40 mb of RAM, I go to task killer > kill all apps and in a few minutes all apps automaticly turn on and use my RAM memory! how do I fix that? how to disable apps that they dont open automaticly- apps such as music player (that I dont even use), whatsapp, contacts, ?

You said to free up RAM but how many times do we do that ?? I have a very few apps installed, i get RAM around 130 mb... Even games dont work properly, the basic games infact. they all crash. I am totally disappointed with the phone (thought it will fast seeing dual core n stuff) but it is not at all.

receiving calls is a little b i t   h a r d on sola.

Every time someone call to me I must wail 4s because if I say "hallo, what's up" someone hear only "...s up"...

It's something audio microphone input related.
