Hello, I've an Xperia S and yesterday after I disconnect it from the pc, the rear camera doesn't work . When I press the camera button appears a black screen and after a few seconds a message 'Gallery is not responding'.
Front camera is working properly.
I've formatted sd and copied all the files again, but I still have the same problem.
Could it be a problem writing/reading on internal sd ? How can I solve it?
Thanks for all,
jordi
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
First of all, try to clear data for gallery, camera and media storage under settings > apps > all > gallery/camera/media storage > clear data. When you have clear data for all three, please restart the phone and try again. Let us know how it works out.
I've done what you have said but I still have the same problem, camera is not responding.
I also have done a factory reset with equal results.
Thanks,
Did you restore a backup after you had reset the phone? In that case I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

If the problem persists in safe mode, I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:
