Real issues for me.

Got my new Z2 yesterday, overall im very pleased with the phone.

The problems:
1: the lid for the memory card is extremely loose, ive had the Z before and my friend have Z1, none of them are even close to this, they are firm. This one can even go up in the pocket.

2. The sound in calls are terrible, there is some static noises just like from an old grammofone. My friends Z1 and my old Z is completely quiet in between the spoken words but in the Z2 it is this old grammofone sound, and its worse during and directly after the spoken word.

3: in the powermanagement there is this history function, it shows that i have wifi on all the time, buy im not. Look at screenshot

I found the solution for the wifi under advanced wifi settings.

Still have the other problems.

Hello, really, no one?

Now after a couple days more, i cant stand the audio quality during calls. This is really bad for a phone in this price class.
Its just like its a amplifier circuit that is leaking or that is amplifying all too much, or some filters not working.

My one has not had call problems. Your handsets more ght he faulty. Would get them diagnosed if I were you by the store you bought them from

I take that back. The last week I have had this email exact problem with call quality. Very disruptive. Can someone from Sony please comment?

What I have heard, is that All handsets have this problem, or poor quality as I prefer to explain it.
I bet that Z2 is much cheaper in production than Z1.
And all this small things they do to earn more money (or rob us quality) is going to put xperia series to the gutter.
It started well, very well. They build up the brand in the mobile market. Z1 came, boom another success. Bit now they release this crap with all kind of faults and poor assembly, and the other brands are picking up in this waterproof thing. And that was the only thing Sony had against the other brands. But why would I keep a phone that I cant even talk with? First time I bought Sony in my life, it was because of the waterproof. And now I dont have to choose Sony anymore, and more brands are coming up, even iphone6 is going to be waterproof..
So bye bye Sony, you tried, you conquered and you wanted to earn more money and Failed.

The covers can be a problem in Z2... compared to Z1, they are not so well build when open.. Mine SD cover didn't fit in anyway, I send for service/replace. still waiting for service response.
The covers in Z1 made a perfect line, un feelable under the touch, and Z2 is quite woorying.. the covers are really different, left is too deep, right stands out... thought that 2 covers will be easy to manage by sony, but they did better job with 3 on Z1.
Call quality... not bad at all, but wery loud, need to put that on 60 - 70% to not get scared after answer.
Wi-Fi.. not an issue in any case.

Today my camera was shutdown due to heat. First time for me, but yaaaay, another problem put to the pile..
It was a moment I really wanted pictures on, and I tried to restart the camera over and over, and then the moment was over and I got 2 bad pictures, you can imagine the flow of good words, hmm.
I had the camera on, without taking pictures for about 3 min, and after that it was shutdown, im in Thailand now so ofcourse its a little bit hotter here than home in Sweden. It thought I bought a good mobile with a good camera before my trip, but I did not. So I bought a camera here after the incident and im thinking about trashing the phoNE when I get home rather then refunding it, thats how pissed I am.
