Re: Wifi Mac Address Missing

I have the same problem with my Sony Xperia e3... Wifi is not working at all, when i tap on icon and move THE sWitch to start scaning for networks, it turns transparent and nothing happens at all, also it says that  MAC adress is Unavailable as IP adress too.

Than I sended the phone to service that works under garanty for you, and they returned me the phone after two long weeks, on papers they say that softver was instaled again...

Thats not all...!

After 4 h of use, on my wifi at home, HE AGAIN STARTED TO MAKE PROBLEMS, AND again the same problem.

NOW I MUST SEND IT AGAIN AND AGAIN...

ITS NOT FUNY AT ALL...

And I am expecting a baby every day, I can live my phone again for two weeks... Imagine your life without phone for two weeks...

That is not cool... At all...

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Hello Everyone
I have a xperia E3 - 4423 and I'm having several issues with Wifi connection after to migrate the android to version 4.4.4. . I already installed the Android using PC Companion for several times . Initially, the wifi works. However, after that I upgrade the applications, in special "Google application ", the connection starts dropping, and wifi button isn't working anymore. I've installed the android 4.4.4 again via PC companion, and I disabled the automatic updates from google play . Sometimes, the wifi works, but sometimes is not recognizing the network. I have others phones connected on my home wifi and they're working properly. I did a test in another location, and my wifi connection recognize the network after I perform a reset on phone. I never had wifi issues using the last Android version , 4.3 .. The trouble started after I migrate to version 4.4 ... Is there a way to migrate back to old version via PC companion?

Please help me Winking_Face
