Every now and again a light at the top of my phone flashes red really quickly. It's just to the left of the light that tells me if my phones charging/charged, and I have no idea what it means. At first, it flashed when I had a call, and if I moved my phone away from my face while i took the call, it would flash and my phone would light up. If I covered it with my finger, my screen would turn off, so I just assumed it was a sort of sensor so your screen would go black if you put your face to your phon during calls.
However, I've noticed that it just flashes at random times now. When I looked this up, a lot of articles about issues with batteries came up, and I honestly had no idea if it was linked to that. Another point is that my phone overheats very easily, either if I have my phone in my bag, or if I put it on charge or use an app that uses a lot of battery. I don't know if it's linked to this, or what it means in general. Any help? I'm not sure if I should be worried or not
