Is it normal to have only around 50 or less free memory (RAM), phone react normal except occasional crashes during games? I have Xperia E1 with latest Kitkat update. Thank you for support

RAM memory is volatile. If you restart, how much do you get?

512 MB isn't that much and it does not mean that if you have more RAM it will be better.Android needs RAM occupied so it opens apps faster.

I think it's normal. I remember the last time i checked my RAM memory it was too low. I guess around 12 MB. But it doesn't seem to be a big problem. Only minor hanging issues etc can occur. I find the speed to be just ok and fine.

But for better results after using certain apps go to the main screen and from the small icon and the bottom right close all tabs. You could also make use of an app like "battery doctor" click on save more button and later close those unwanted apps which are left open.

I would advise you to keep away from any kind of battery savers, task killers.

i noticed one strange thing. When i run phone in safe mode amount of free RAM is around 100MB but when i uninstall all downloaded apps and even some preinstalled like facebook (very memory hungry) i styl cant get more than 70 to 80 MB free but since its aparently the same on all xperias E1 its not a problem Slightly_smiling_Face i hope that crashing of some games (like metal slug X) is only problem of poor writen app and not phone itself

Why should we avoid using task killers?

Because they can stop system processes and your device will not work properly.
