I've been having issues with my xPeria Pro (MK16i)...
Normally, when I have none but the usual background apps and processes running, the phone uses around 130-150 mb RAM.
However, whenever a game or other app crashes, the RAM usage goes up to between 200-280 mb (fluxuating a lot), and refuses to go back down to normal, even if I kill the app that crashed. Been trying to check under "Apps" and using various task manager programs to try and see what is responsible for this surge in RAM-usage, but I can find nothing accounting for it.
It is extremely annoying, because the phone becomes insufferably slow, and the only thing I've found that works is rebooting.
Does anyone know WHY this happens, and if so, is there something you can do, or is rebooting the only choice I have? x.x
taskillers are a BAD idea, a taskiller will stop an app but this app will be reopen and by doing so it will drain battery and use RAM sometimes even more RAM than letting it run in the background, same with battery, killing an app will drain more battery than letting run in the background.

Yeah, I figured as much... I only did it once as a last resort to see if it would help.
Still, the problem remains even if I do nothing. It infuriates me even more that I can't even see which process or app is suddenly hogging so much more RAM... Was kinda hoping there was a way to see that and then restart it like you can do on a PC, but perhaps a reboot is the only way? 😕
