radio stops randomly

Hi,

i purchased xperia E before two or three weeks. I listen the fm radio a lot, but i am  experiencing some random glitch from the it. The music from the radio randomly pauses for a second or a two and  then continues, it happen every once in a  while. And it is not through internet, to say it is from bad internet connections, the radio is on radio waves.

I tried another handsfree headset first, i thought it is from the handsfree, replaced them, but the problem is still there. There is not such a problem at a walkman app it is working fine.

Tried rebooting, even resetting to factory setting, no other apps  running, but  still having the same problems.

Can i fix this?

If you have bad coverage for the FM Radio you might experience that the radio stops for a few seconds and then come back.

If not you can try to clear data for the FM Radio app. Go to settings > apps > the tab "all" > FM Radio > clear data. Restart your phone.

If the problem persist I suggest that you repair the phone software using the program PC Companion:

Hi again,

it is not from bad coverage, other radio receivers work perfectly at the same place and time and same radio stations.

I cleared the data as described above, but no effect.

I repaired the phone software through PC Companion and again no effect.

A few days ago I tried hard reset of settings and guess what - radio keep stopping for a two three seconds.

I am starting to think that the problem is within the program itself, so can you recommend some another program for radio listening? I don't need online players, because of the lack of internet at my workplace. Please help, these stops are beginning to drive me crazy, this is very annoying.
