"accessory not supported" error with original headset

Hi

I don't use my handsfree so much, but it was working before without any problem. today when I tried to connect the headset I saw a message: "accessory not supported" and I found out that the button and mic were not working.

I searched the forum but didn't find similar topics with original SE headset which came with my phone.

I guess it is because of my latest update (from .42 to .62 baseband) cause I didn't do any thing special with my phone.

Any help on how to solve this issue?

If the error message has only started after the update on the device, I would suggest performing a repair on the handsets software to try resolve the issue. Please use the following link to download Update Service,

I did a repair using sus but the problem still remains.:smileyplain:

This could actually be a problem with the headset. If the microphone button is not working this could be giving the phone an indication that it is another device. You may need to return the headset for repair/replacement.

I guess I have the similar issue but I thought my mic itself is not working.
May be it is because of ICS update . need to check
