Quick launch doesn't always work sometimes it does't load I mean it keeps circling or give a error camera not found.Already tried reinstalling the software

I have a problem with Quick Launch the camera:

We are waiting for the next update. I hope that Sony will fix it because I haven't found the solution...

It's very annoying for me because it's the one bug I've noticed on my xperia P.

I recommend that you contact a service location or local Sony Xperia support (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/) for further investigation of your phones. I have been trying to replicate this problem but it works for me every time.

I don't think so, because when I'm running the camera from menu, always everything is OK.

If I want to run the camera by pushing and holding 'camera button' on the phone case, everything is also OK.

But when I tap the screen (camera shortcut beside walkman shortcut) on locked phone , sometimes I get this error. Sometimes.

IMHO on .100 firmware it's work better than .400.

@Rickard, maybe you've got other revision the phone than me?

Many times I've reset my phone to factory defaults and repair by PCC/SUS but it doesn't help me..

I can send you PM with my IMEI and other informations of my phone.

Look, that some people on this forum have some problems of the phone, and another people have another problems and they haven't problems of the first people.

It doesn't look like a general software problem as i can't replicate it here and i can't see that we have received other reports of this. After you made the repair in PCC, did you try the phone before restoring any backup or 3:rd party apps? Perhaps this is something that happens in combination with a 3:rd party app.

No, I don't have any other apps.

The problem persists even a while after full reset the phone (before restoring any backup or even connect to wifi or data transfer).

Do you understand? No apps, no videos, no music and no other files in memory.

I know that is strange.

Earlier I said that on ICS I've had no problems with Quick Launch.

I know why. Because QL (by taping screen I mean) on ICS, working in other way than on JB.

In that case i recommend that you contact a service location to have your phone checked.
