Quick launch camera freezes on Z2

After Marshmallow update, there is an issue wherein the camera won't respond to presses on screen. It appears that the phone is sensing a sticky half-press camera button because it appears focusing just like what happens when the user half-presses the camera button. The problem shows up only when the camera is launched by pressing and holding the camera button. The problem doesn't show when the camera is launched by pressing the camera icon or pressing the power button twice quickly.

Settings > apps > camera > memory > clear data > restart the phone > test it > if that doesn't work > test it in >>> safe mode

There's "No memory used in the last 3 hours". And the problem is still there when on safe mode.

Update: I noticed that the problem is not with the quick launch, but rather on the camera auto-mode. Quick launch brings up the auto-mode, that's why I thought the problem is the quick launch. So on auto-mode, the buttons in the screen disappears when the camera button is half-pressed. The icons remains gone even when the camera button is fully released.
