Quick charging not working since MM update

Just received the Marshmallow update yesterday and suddenly my tablet is charging slowly again which is a huge pain. Anyone else have this problem? With such a slow charging time quick charging is a must. I'm charging using the official dock.

Thanks

@Kiwil What exactly do you mean by quick charging? Are you using UCH10 with the dock?

By quick charge I mean Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0. I am using a Motorola charger which came with my Nexus 6 which also has QC 2.0. Have been using it fine for months, until the just released MM update which I installed. My Nexus 6 still charges fine so it's not the charger.

@Kiwil Download Ampere app from google play, see how much current the adapter gives when charging the tablet.

Tops out at 1080 mA on my tablet. For comparison when I plug in my Nexus 6 it's getting 2180mA

@Kiwil I was about to suggest safe mode, but you won't be able to check the current like that. You can only estimate if it charges indeed faster.

Just to confirm my Z2 tablet (32Gb wlan UK) is still on Android 5.1.1; connected an Aukey QC 2.0 to it via the micro USB port; Ampere registered a maximum charge of 2160mA from 16% to 100% charged.

@JonC I'm also using one from Aukey, but as it gets closer to 100%, it will reduce the current below 500 mA.

Yes you're right alexdon, I missed out the word MAXIMUM charge - battery charges do reduce when they get close to 100% to minimise overcharging. Edited.

Now testing my Z4 tablet (32Gb LTE UK) on Android 6.0; connected to the same Aukey QC 2.0 to it via the micro USB port; Ampere registering around 2400mA at 50% charged.
