1.) use a separate pouch, or keep the phone on a separate pocket
do not immedieatly wipe the camera lens if there is something on it, make sure it has no dust or small particles that can cause small scratches, blow it up first or use lint free cloth like the ones that came free with a screen protector or eyeglasses
2.) make sure you lock on the autofocus. ( halfway press on the hardware camera key)
or make use of the normal mode, choose the scene appropriate for the situation
3.) it uses Digital Zoom, instead of OPtical Zoom most dedicated camera has. so never use the zoom
