Push notifications - Xperia S

Hello,

I use Xperia S - purchased October 2012, yesterday updated to official 4.1.2 (Build 6.2.B.0.200). Since purchsing it I found that "push notifications" (active sync)  doesn't work properly. It may take anywhere between 1 minute and up to 10 minutes to get notification. I was hoping that this update will fix the issue- and I was wrong My old Windows Mobile 6.1 was working ActiveSync in real time , matter of a second. Thta's really important for me since my income depends on it. Looking throughout the support forum I found it's an actual issue with Xperia S.Will Sony address the issue in the nearest future, or do I have to give my phone to my wife and get something from different manufacturer , with different OS?

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem you experience when testing myself. Make sure that you don't have the extend standby mode activated in the phone. Make sure you have auto sync data turned on and that the check frequency settings in e-mail app is set on push.

If you found several other threads with the similar kind of issue I recommend that you keep the discussion in those threads. If we get more/similar reports on this issue we will be able to forward/escalate it further on.
