So, I bought a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, 2 months after I started to experience purple and black vertical lines run down the left side of the screen. At this point I was a bit concerned but it wasn't an offput, but I contacted 'GiffGaff' as I purchased the phone from them and they asked me to send it back as it was still in warrenty. However, the day after, the day I was sending it back, I looked at my phone as soon as I woke up to find black marks in different sections of the phone which made it impossible for me to use it! I haven't dropped the phone ONCE and from looking at the outside of the phone and quality of the screen you can tell it hasn't been. I sent it back to GiffGaff anyway and they informed me in was a 'Cracked LCD Screen'... how?! They informed me it would be £85 to fix or £15 to send back BROKEN (even though they didn't have to carry out any labour). So I took my concern up with Sony which was suggested by the naff GiffGaff service provided hoping for the problem to be sorted as I'm not paying for the phone to be repaired as it's not a customer fault, it's a manufacturer's fault! I am totally disgusted and hope for it to be refunded as I am not getting another Sony phone. I should have stuck with Samsung!
I'm sorry to hear that but this seems to be something you will have to address with GiggGaff.
Hi @Chrisvale8,
I'm sorry to hear this.
However, repair and warranty is handled at a local level so you will have to go through your Local support team in this case.
