PS3 Controller not connecting wirelessly with Z2

Hi

I have problems connecting to my ps3 controller wirelessly. Every time I connect it using USB OTG then follow the steps, it says you can now connect wirelessly. But after removing the cable, my z2 cannot locate the ps3 controller. I have followed the steps on youtube, sony support site and even searched google. All have same intsructions. Tried it multiple times but still same issue.

Can anyone help me with this? It's a hassle to always connect ps3 via usb.

Hi Guys. Try turning off WiFi and then connecting your controller. Unfortunately Xperia Z2 has a massive issue with Bluetooth interfering with WiFi and very often they won't work well together. It worked for me but basically makes Remote Play useless feature Slightly_frowning_Face

Let me know if it helped.

I don't know if anybody will find this post helpful or not; turns out if you're keeping your sony tablets / phones updated, sony removed support for the ps3 controller in favor of the ps4 controller (on my sony tablet, anyway).
