Proxy problem

I have an unlocked xperia L on metro pcs. When I am on wifi everything works fine. When I am on the network anything that has to do with data doesnt work. The browser tells me I have a proxy server problem. I have contacted metro pcs five times and now they threw there hands up and said it my problem.  So I need help is this my problem with my phone or theres. All the settings in my phone are correct as checked by there service center. Or do I need to buy a new phone? Again please help.

1. Do you have the correct APN settings?
2. do you have an antivirus?
3. how old is your SIM card?
4. is data enabled ?

Yes apn settings is correct. I ran avg and macafee and they both came back with nothing. Yes my data is enabled. My sim card is a year and a half old maybe two. I asked them about that and they blew off that suggestion.

Uninstall both antivirus and try again

Also, how about if you boot on safe mode and try again, but do uninstall and/or disable the antivirus apps

I ran the anti-virus again with nothing found. It seems to be a mms problem any other ideas?

You have to UNINSTALL the antivirus app

I was able to fix it. In the Sony setting is a place to install your mms setting. So I did that and it's good as new.
