One thing for sure, there is nothing wrong with your phone. Winking_Face

Just wondering, can other devices detect your home Wi-Fi network?

Make sure you did not hide or disable your Wi-Fi network SSID.

yes other phone which i have can connect to this network, laptop olso without any problems connecting to home WiFi, accept my X10 😕

How can i restore SSID if it's hiden or disabled?

To do that, you need to connect to your router from PC. You can access it from the 'Router Menu' (hopefully you know how to).

If SSID is not hidden or disabled, try changing the SSID (Network name), preferable without a space.

Before I provide any further advice, just want to know when did this problem happen? since you got the phone or after update?

after update Slightly_smiling_Face

What update is that? Android 2.1 or the recent software update?

Anyway, if your phone is after the recent update, you should have

Firmware 2.1-update1

Baseband 2.1.54

Build Number 2.1.A.0.435

You will have options to do Factory data reset (Erases all data on phone) or Settings reset (Reset phone to it's original settings without erasing user data), choose SETTING RESET (2nd one) and try connecting to your Wi-Fi again.

However, if yours is the earlier firmware, remember to do backup prior to Factory data reset.

Goto Settings>Privacy

Good luck.

Do you still have this issue? If possible try to connect to a different network with the same security settings. Since it obviously works with several other networks, it would be good to know if it all comes down to a specific network security.

And as always,

gwhispererz - thanks! Slightly_smiling_Face
