Problems with vibrate

Hi
Whenever I receive a notification or text my phone will vibrate, but on the settings vibrate is turned off.
How do I turn it off for everything?

Also, when turning the volume down it will only go onto vibrate, how do I turn it onto silent mode so the darn vibrating thing doesn't wake me up!

To turn your device into silent mode, reduce the volume to 0 then press again volume button.

In order to not receive a notification from a specific app, disable vibrations from each app.
