I too am having the same problem.
Connected my xperia arc to PC companion. Update completed. PC companion asked me to disconnect the phone, removed the battery for 5 seconds, then switch on and reconnect to pc companion.
problem is the phone wont switch on (for long).
i am pressing the power button, phone vibrates as usual, sony ericsson displays on the screen, then a white triangle with a yellow exclamation in the centre and a picture of a phone underneath. then the phone switches off again.
if it is connected to the pc companion then the phone switches on and off continuously.
what do i do????
