Problems with sending emails.

I am using the Sony email app that came with the phone.  I can get emails with my yahoo,Gmail,and hotmail.  For some reason I cannot send with the Yahoo account. It says "Cannot safely connect to server".  The Gmail and hotmail works, (send/recieve).

my smtp settings for yahoo outgoing is

smtp.mail.yahoo.com

port

465

security type

SSL.

Hi,

Have you checked these settings with Yahoo and confirmed they are correct? Also, have you tried using any other email app to see if you can successfully set this up? This will help us find what is causing the problem you are facing.
