Problems with phone memory.

I have tried to get apps to save data on the microSD such ass Spotify. But sice the phone have a "SD-card" storage device integrated in the phone, all data is placed on the phone instead of microSD card. Is there any way to fix this? I had a Xperia Active, and there i just downloaded the apps and the data were stored on the microSD.

In some cases the application needs to store different things on the internal memory, and such things very's between different apps and are depending on how they are developed. For more information check with the developer of the app it's concerning.

I found the same problem as nakkeru and as so many other users under the "Xperia Go Problems" threads.

The answer you give does not address the real question which is how to store the actual apps into the external SD card, instead of on the partitioned portion of the internal phone memory. Sure some apps will access the internal memory, but the the app itself is being installed in the phone, not the micro SD card which is the issue being discussed here.

ALL apps are in the internal phone memory : found at /mnt/sdcard.

The external SD cards are found at /mnt/ext-card and you cannot move apps to this place.

Basically, if you've just spent hard earned money to buy a 16GB micro SD card, you will not be able to use it for storing apps.... you might aswell pack it with your videos, photos and music and then hope that all your apps don't fill the phone memory.
