problems with android 4 - update

Hi my sony xperia Ray phone's SI is listed in the set of eligible SIs since 24th April,when i try to upadate the phone via pc companion or SUS, i see that the update is available.

but when preparing the phone for update i receive an installion error "unable to install or start phone software update components" & suggests to contact here.

can some one help?

You find problem with Update service as well ?

then you should try with other PC

Boot PC in safe  mode with networking on, ( F8 at startup and select safe mode+ networking)

Turn off firewall and antivirus, allow full access to pc companion in firewall's list of exception

Update your java
