Hello.
I bought a SanDisk Ultra MicroSDHC 32 GB Class 10 to use with my Xperia Ray, and I am experiencing severe problems.
Most of the times I try to boot my phone, my Xperia Ray does not recognize that I've inserted a memory card.
If it does, it goes right onto updating my music. If it does so, only a small part of my music collection is shown in the music menu.
Using ES file explorer to look at the memory card, it only shows some folders, far from all present at the card. The folders shown vary from time to time.
Recently, my phone claims that the memory card in question is empty or not inserted correctly.
Using a different (8GB) memory card, the phone finds- and accepts it immediately.
Suggestions?
it seems that sandisk memory cards have trouble with xperia, if you can try other brands like kingston,
try also to reformat your sd card inside the phone, or try with a software repair, http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
Tried reformatting memory card and resetting the phone, but neither worked. Not very keen on purchasing another memory card, but guess I have to. Thank you.
I'll let it remain open in the case that somebody discovers a magically fantastic fix.
i don't think sandisk has a problem with ray.i got 32gb class4 sandisk it's works fine.u should format memory card through computer with FAT32 (not quick format) ,then insert the card in fn ,again format the card in fn.if still not solved then it's diffenitly card's problem.
