problems while in roaming

  Heyy guys.........
recently i experienced a problem that whenever my phone was in roaming so in status baar as it shown with the "R" sign, thats fine but due to that i was ynable to recognize that when i am in 3G network or in 2G network.So is there any thing that i can do it to overcome this problem.

Unfortunately it's not possible to determinate if the phone is using 2 or 3G when roaming as it will show the R instead. The phone should however prioritize according to the connection settings you've made (for example HSDPA only).

well dats okay that according to settings we can priortize....
but cant der an update rearding this from sony that while in roaming te roaming sign should be shown near battery indicator......
