problems transferring data to sd card

Since I bought my Xperia z I've been having problems transferring data to my sd card. When I try to do it on the phone some if the music is not playable and some of the pictures and videos won't open. Data plays fine before transferring. And to eliminate issues with the sd card I connected it directly to my pc and transferred data to it and it worked fine, then when I put the sd card back in the phone it didn't work again. Can anyone help me with this? Do I need to send my phone to be repaired?

First of all you can try to clear data for media storage under settings > apps > all > media storage > clear data. 

Restart your phone and wait for the phone to indexing the media again. 

If you still experience problem you can try to format your SD card or try with another SD card in your phone.
