well, heeding to various user's advise on this blog, i repaired the software using PC companion, as i had to interrupt "finishing boot" (cause it didnot finish for 2 hours).
voila...it got repaired under 20 mins. the phone felt new, no sluggishness, no lags...etc etc.
But there was a problem, phone couldnot install internet settings from service provider (Airtel) automatically, which it does. I had previously saved the backup of phone before installing ICS, so i restored the phone again using PC companion. Internet and mms settings are there now and working fine,
well the question is, since the backup was from GB version (LOL), have i done the right thing by restoring ICS with GB backup file???
