Problems after Jelly Bean update

Hi, yesterday i updated my phone to the latest firmware (11.2.A.0.21) and everything seems to work fine apart from these problems :

- keyboard settings menu is slow (there is a delay of about 15 seconds when you backed out of a menu)

- songs sometimes jitter when running walkman in background while doing other things on the phone

- there is a noticeable difference in sound quality when using a headset if compared to the previous firmware version (11.0.A.7.5), the bass is now less powerful and audio output is lower (i'm using the standard one that came with the phone)

Is there anyone out there who also encountered these problems?

Yes, I have also observed the same problem while I connect the phone through AUX cable in my car..Other phones just work fine and the sound quality is also too good.

I guess there is some problem with the hardware.

Can anyone suggest what to do>

I have not had these problems but I have a different one:

The Mute option und Settings > Sound has disappeared and the only way I can find to mute it now is to switch the phone off alltogather.  Is there any answer to this?

the sound quality on my xperia j is fixed, despite the volume output still a bit on the low side. I recently rooted my phone and edited the build.prop file

this is the original one :

#

# system prop for audio post processing

#

audio.legacy.postproc=true

simply set the line :

audio.legacy.postproc=false

reboot the phone.

the sound is really good now.

Things to consider :

- To root the phone, you need to unlock the bootloader which may void the warranty of your device and requires you to download and install the Android SDK on your computer.

- Unlocking the bootloader will reset all settings and erase all data on phone storage including accounts, contacts, and messages (user internal storage and external SD card will not be affected).

If you want to proceed to root your phone, just follow the guide here :
