Hi to all,
I have installed Pc Companion on my laptop whit Windows 7 64bit.
My computer identify the device (Xperia U) and also Pc Companion identify it....
I enabled the "debug mode" in "settings", of my phone.
Now when I connect my phone to the pc, Eclipse doesn't recognize the phone as a device, so I can't use my phone to debug an app.
I tried installing this drivers:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/
But when I try to update my actual drivers, windows say me that there aren't any drivers in that folder.
Are this driver for Windows 7 64bit?
Thanks, and sorry for my english...
I will pass this on to our developers to have them check. I will get back to you.
I got some response. Have you tried to uninstall your current driver and PCC and then install PCC again and connect your phone?
Because PCC contains the drivers that you need.
I have the same problem, and tried many things. ADB devices won't see my Xperia T.
- Fresh boot Intel 64bit Win7 English
- PC Companion installed (and updated)
- Xperia T plugged in USB, ask to install PC Companion (press install, no sure why it always asks)
- Xperia debugging turned on, ask again to install PC Companion (press install again)
- run adb devices, nothing
- tried to kill adb.exe and start it again
- tried to force updating the driver with the one provided w/ PC Companion (windows says the best driver is already installed)
- tried to force updating the driver using the android generic usb driver (same thing)
- Windows Device Manager only sees a Portable Device Xperia T (no Other Device, no ADB what so ever).
- my Xperia T indicates me Internal Storage & SD card, and USB debugging connected
- Windows detected an Xperia T and an LT30a (I saw the pop ups).
I am out of ideas here, and bought that phone, because I could not get my Xperia Mini Pro to debug either. So far not a good experience. Also I contact support via email several times, only got one answer saying that I need to unlock my phone to debug with it??? not sure about that.
Please help! Please....
Thanks, Daniel.
