Problem with z1 and Peltor BT

Hi

I have a Peltor WS Alert XP (MRX21AWS5) paired with my new Xperia Z1. Problem is that I can't answer incomming calls as I usualy do. Anyone know if there is any change in the BT protocol or something? I have been using an older SonyEricsson Xperia Arc before without any problems.

Anyone got any idéas?

Go to the settings -> bluetooth

tap the "tools" icon right next to the Peltor device

you will see at least 2 options there, make sure "Phone audio" is checked.

Sometimes devices connect without this option by default.

I have the same problem, xperia go works not z1. Z1 does not work with the older alert model either. Can only hope that an upgrade can fix it. I have been in contact with peltor, and they said that they will get an z1 for testing.

G'day

I am new to Sony Z1. I used to have an iphone 4S that did work perfectly with my 3M Peltor WS headset XP MT53H7AWS5 via bluetooth. Here is a list of issues I am having with my Sony Z1 while paired to my headset.

1.When a new call comes in I hear on my headset "incoming call" however I can not answer the call via bluetooth headset. I can not hear the caller or talk to them.

2. I can listen to music however If a call comes in and I answer the call via handset I have no end of trouble repairing my headset to my Z1.

3. I can make a call and hear and talk with my headset I am having trouble receiving calls.

Under tools in paired bluetooth device I do have phone audio and media audio enabled but still have issues.

I have exactly the same issues as Sameryn, only my phone loses connection with my WS Alert when a call comes in.

But when I call it works just fine, same with music.

I to have both phone audio and media audio enabled.

Hi! Have the same problem. Get a message about an incoming call, but I can't answer it. Even though when testing at home it worked if I answered at once(before " incoming call" was finished). Also looses connection after the call is lost. worked perfect with htc one x.

Discovered recently that if I uncheck the media audio box, and just check the phone audio box, it works. Still not good enough, but works for me, since I mostly listens to the radio anyways.

Will Sony fix the Bluetooth problem or google soon fix this problem? I have the same problem with an old Sony headset HBH-DS970. Annoying to burn 50-70 euro when it is just to fix a OS bug.

I have got my WS Peltor XP working as intended to make and receive calls.

To make and receive calls go to Bluetooth setting and enable phone audio only. Do not have media enabled also.

This is very poor from Sony at the moment and lets hope a fix will come soon to enable media audio with phone audio together..

It appears in the lastest Walkman update and Android update this problem has been rectified
