I have just bought a sony xperia Z1, and the vibration doesn't work. This means Sony has put into circulation an anomalous device. The shop doen'st assume its responsability, Sony doesn't take the correct solution (it must be changing the product, I have paid by a new product not for a repaired one not being my fault).
The technical support doesn't answer my emails and they doesn't give a solution by phone.
Has you had problems with vibration in xperia z1?
Have they given you the same solution?
Only 13 days since I bought the device.
I have to add this has happened in Spain. And I use this blog because the Spanish one is more complicated to post a comment, but I will keep trying
the only way to do this is to write directly to sony and then pressure the company that you bought the device from in the first place.
If all else fails go to consumer court because they have no right to treat you this way after taking all your money for a supposedly great device.
I have done all you say- Any result? no no Everything works the same. Your work is control eveything here in this site, but nothing more. There is a real unjusted life outside
I had the same problem with not working vibration on my Z some time ago (now I have Z1).
I just returned it to carrier and they fixed the issue (send it to Sony Service center).
Give it back as you have your right (the device on warranty) and there is very little possibility that it was caused by you.
If the shop you bought the device doesn't want to take it back, call local Consumer Ombudsman or go to the court.
This phone is simply too expensive to get such a treatment.
Thank you, it's very kind your answer. I have done a claim in the Consumer Defense Office concerning the shop, but I think Sony has its responsability not answering appropriately. I think I won't use Sony brand more if they have this attitude. Not proffesional.
Sony Support Service in Spain told me this was the first problem notified concerning vibration in Xperia Z1. Simply, do you believe that?
Is it so bad in other countries?
My xperia Z1 has a problem with the vibration since I have bought it (only two weeks ago). I have followed what support service told me: take it to an oficial service to be taken in order to be repaired. AFTER 6 DAYS SONY HAS NOT TAKEN IT TO BE REPAIRED IN MADRID.
Chat for support is totally usefullness.
They don't answer emails for supporting.
And you have to pay calls for supporting that don't solve anything.
Does this hapen in other countries?
Does anyone know how to put a claim formally or where you can contact with certain guarantees to be properly attended?
Same thing in Ostereich ( Austria) , im very dissapointed by sony. i have tv, laptop PlayStation, al are great products but sony xperia Z1 is a dissaster.
You have to wait several weeks to have your movil repaired in Spain, by Sony, whatever the problem is. Is this normal in such a big technological company? Is it normal? is it he same in other countries or only in Spain?
