Problem with updating the phone

I was just trying to update my phone through the PC companion, but somehow failed every time with error message: fail to run the update program. So I tried using the update service, but it doesn't respond and just stuck at the screen where it ask us to plug in the phone while pressing the volume down buttom, and the worse part is that after doing so my phone simply won't start.

first charge your phone until the notification LED is Green, uninstall both PCC and SUS > restart your PC > re-install SUS > restart your PC > turn off your firewall and antivirus > run SUS and try again
