problem with updating apps

Hi,

I have a proper internet connection and have no problem connecting to gmail, facebook and other apps etc but when I try to update existing apps it starts downloading but it doesn't stop......after waiting a while the percentage doesn't come up and I have to force it to stop...... i then have to go into setting to clear cache otherwise it will try to start downloading again....

I have left it over an hour to download an update of approx 11MB.

I never had this problem before

Is ther something in settings i need to check?

have searched all troubleshooting and forums...

Do you have enough internal storage?

yes, 10gb available

Try this: Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Playstore > Clear Cache > Uninstall Updates > try to update the apps again.

Thanks, will try that the next time.

Ended up restoring factory settings which was the last thing i wanted to do but it worked so all good again.
