Hello there, I've been using my phone for almost a year now. Normally, if there is a new update released, I was able to update it
using the PC Companion installed on my computer. However, recently, there was an update that appeared on my phone's notification
bar. The update is for the system and it's the 4.1.B.0.587 ..
What I did, is I just followed the normal process, connect my phone to the computer, open PC Companion. Then PC Companion starts
to download the software, and then, checks the phone. The problem starts when the PC Companion asks to unplug the USB cable.
The next step after that is to plugh the cable back to the computer, and then, press and hold the "back" button on my phone before
reconnecting the USB cable to it. Once I connect the usb cable to the phone, a prompt on my computer will appear saying that it's looking
for a driver of the phone. And it's something about the memory flash SEMC. I can't remember the exact error. I don't know what to do.
I have been trying to install this update to my phone several times with no success.
Any help or information will be very helpful, and I truly appreciate if someone can help me. Thank you in advance 😃
Have you tried updating your phone from another PC?
Try to do the following:
*First open your PC Companion (Dont run the system update).
*Shut down your phone and connect it while pressing and holding the back key.
*It should then recognize the missing driver.
*After successful install of the driver, you can start updating your phone.
If this doesnt work try downloading the SUS first, then retry the previous steps.
