Problem with sound

I have a brand new xperia P. but the sound quality is very bad. i have checked the xloud, also tried installing some third party software to boost the sound but its very minimum.. is this just an issue with my phone or the problem with P series ???is there any fix.. i have allready tried resetting my phone to factory defauly its has the latest version of ICS... not sure what to do next...

The sound quality in all media:music,videos and in calls also?It could be a hardware issue,with your speaker.

I would suggest performing a software repair to try resolve the issue. I have supplied software below that will help achieve this task.

If the software repair does not rectify this issue, then I can only suggest that you get the handset to a repair agent for assessment.
