Problem with sharing data

Since I updated my Sony Live with Walkman to ICS I can't share my data plan with wifi hotspot nor anything else. It was working with Gingerbread but not now. Please help! (Sorry for my bad english).

is your phone locked to a carrier? the reason I ask is bc some carries disable this feature

No, it isn't. I bought it free from any carrier. But I should ask mine if they did disable that feature.
