hye.. i have a problem using my SE xperia mini pro because the battery run out quickly..
well i know it common problem for android smart phone but, i think mine is different because, when i've just finished charging it.. when i start using the phone for 1 min the phone battery suddenly decrease from 100% to 98%.. can you imagine when your phone just finish charge than when you open the message just for 1 min the battery decrease 2 or 3%.. sometimes its annoying.. and make me worry too.. and also can you tell me the different between the li-poly battery (mAh) and(uAh). also ,is there possible that i can replace my battery with 1500 mAh , because mine is 1160 mAh.. it suppose to be 1200 mAh.. thats why i'm confuse.. can you give me the quick respone.. i really need it.. thanks..
You can try replacing your battery if required. The problem you are facing is normal to batteries. Every battery has a definite number of cycles. After some time the battery capacity diminishes. I've been using my XMP for the past 10 months and my battery capacity has reduced to 1080mAh. So when I charge my phone, it charges till 100%, however on removal of charger immediately changes to 98%.
However this hasn't caused much problem to me as I have rooted my phone and underclocked my phone(causing less CPU usage). This has increased my battery life for every charge
you can't replace the battery unless you find one that is compatible with this phone.
remember that the older the batteries get the less they are going to be able to hold their charge.
it might be a software issue that it's marking 100% when it's not 100%. you could repair it with SUS or PCC and see if the problem persists.
