I have a Xperia SL. Everything works fine. I had it updated to Jelly Bean. I barely used (if not said never used the headset plug in). Today when my mp3 was out of battery, I plug my earphones in my phone, and it didn't recognize the earphone (i tried once before when still use ICS and it worked, same earphones from Sony Mp3). I tried with the set came with the phone, it doesn't recognize either. I don't know how to fix it, any idea? Thanks a lot.
If this has happened since updating the phone I would advise trying a repair to reload the firmware:
To repair the phone software
1. Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2. In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3. Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4. Click repair phone.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

I have Xperia S. When I take the headset (Creative MA930 for smartphones) out, the smartphone still "thinks" that it's in. So I can't use the phone's dynamics and microphone to talk and listen to the interlocutor.
Reset helped only once until next headset using.
Also I can't use software reparing because backup copying can't be complete.
Please, help!
