Problem with Google Play Store.

Hi,
I wanted to update my app's and while updating them, I got and error saying ' Package file is invalid ' What should I do? I cleared the cache and data of play store from the app's menu. Also force closed and uninstalled updates and even rebooted my device, went into safe mode but nothing helped. I'm using Xperia mini running on official ICS 4.0.4 with firmware:4.1.B.0.431 and I have not rooted yet and don't intend to.
Please help me people it would mean a lot.

Is it a particualar app you're trying to install or is it all apps in general that return this error ? Do any of these apps have regional restrictions ?

I too have this problem sometimes but not constantly, i just retry and mostly it will work. I have Xperia Mini with ICS 4.0.4 with same firmware as you and it's not rooted either.

It's almost every app larger than 2-3 MB 😕 And I can't update lookout,Angry Birds,Facebook and FB messenger. I tried to install one live wallpaper (about 7 MB) and I got the error (package file is invalid). I even sent one e-mail to Google and they asked to to factory reset my cell. But I'm planning on degrading to GB and later upgrade to the NEW ics update. What should I do? I even want clearer photos and be able to play games which is not possible on ics due to blurred photos and not 720P recording and I can't play shadowgun on ics and Temple run lags a lot.
