Problem with attachments in mail

Hello

Just got the Xperia Z1.

When im reading mails on the phone on the mail app. I cant see all the attachments i get in the emails.

I can only see the first attahed file, and it says how many attachemnts there are, when i click the arrow that hides or shows the attachments it goes blank and says 0.

But if I press forward, all the attachments can be seen and are included.

Same story goes for gmail app.

But not when i log in on gmail from the webbrowser.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Do you use mobile networks or Wi-Fi when checking these mails with attachments? If mobile networks, try Wi-Fi or vice versa.

Otherwise I suggest that you clear data for the E-mail app and add your account again and check if it works.

Settings > App's > All > E-mail > Clear data.

Johan, this is not getting fixed in your built-in app of my Z1. I request you to get it fixed ASAP because it's quite frustrating when you don't see the attachment in your app. But when you open the browser, it's there!
Waiting for your response!

HI! I got the same problem on Xperia Z after update to 4.4.4 - it just does not open attachments. Even if there is only one tiny file attached, it cannot download it, regardless of what type of connection I have at the moment - 4G or WiFi

Here is another topic

Also, as I said, looks like the roots of the problem are in the Google native mail client - Google forums are full of these complaints

https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=62805

So Sony needs to deal with Google first in order to get this fixed - as the Sony email program is only an extension over the native Android email app.

OMG! Looks like Android phones are not for business users, except those who use third party email clients
